Really good read Greg as always. One thing I'm starting to understand is that you have to be flexible and there is no need to panic when going 'off schedule'... it's the big picture that matters. Your ideas on keeping the whole thing together while maintaining/improving quality are really spot-on.

Good article. I've found your log helpful as I've adjusted to running really early as my training partner's schedule demands. I find the accountability aspect of dailymile very helpful too, not just for hitting miles, but for resting when I'm supposed to rest. Important, given my recent injury history.

Insightful post Greg! A select group of a couple dozen high-quality Blogs(yours most certainly included!), has been of high import to me as well. Coming from a lifetime off-and-on runner who has quit for YEARS at a time in the past whenever an injury would pop up, I can attest to the truth behind #3Encouragement, and how big a part Social Media, primarily DM, has played in me coming back w/out quitting this time around. FB and logthatrun pale in comparison to DM in my opinion. Thanks for sharing!

Love, love, love the tights--though I only need to break them out about once a year, living in the deep south. My only beef with the top is that the neck is a bit too tight on me to be comfortable.
