    good 6.16 mi 00:46 07:29 pace

It's been a while since I pumped out 6 miles... it felt good... really good. Despite my training plan calling for a 30 minute tempo run, I wasn't ready to be done at the 30 minute mark. M... read more

  2. RUN
    Uphill Training 1 mi

Did one mile of hills outside of my 5 mile run (traded a 6 mile run for 5 miles of rolling hills and 1 mile of pure uphill running). Not bad... but I can definitely feel it today.

  3. RUN
    alright 5.01 mi 00:37 07:26 pace

My IT band is back in action being a pain in the butt. I felt fine for the first 3 miles with just a little nagging pain and by mile 4 and 5 it got much much worse. Trying to get some extra stretch... read more

Bri and I did a run through the park to get back into the swing of running together. It was nice to have a running partner :)

  7. RUN
alright Neighborhood Run & Conn Ave 4.7 mi

The beginning of my training for the DC SunTrust half marathon. No Garmin [on purpose], just me and my music to start this out. My knees have been bothering me, so I'm going to take the first ... read more

  8. RUN
blah Rock Creek Park 5.5 mi

I haven't run in a few weeks... so this was rough. 4 miles into the run, my knees (more so, my IT bands) were KILLING me, but I toughed out the last 1.5 miles.

  9. FIT
    Post Turkey Run 4 mi

A nice little jog to run off the pumpkin pie :)

  10. RUN
good Turkey Chase 10K 10 km

Brian and I ran our annual Turkey Trot/Chase together. This wasn't about going for a PR... this was about running together and having fun. Mission accomplished!

  11. FIT
    alright P90X - Arms/Chest 01:00

I have CONFIRMED that running IS easy compared to this... not kidding. My plan right now is to incorporate my 1/2 Marathon training plan starting Sunday after my muscles stop hating me and continue... read more

  12. FIT
    alright P90X - Plyometrics + ABS 01:15

Kicked.My.Butt... I think a run would have been much much easier.

  13. RUN
    3 mi 00:23 07:30 pace

Continued my gym workout with a 3 mile run. I'm starting to get a sore throat... awesome. May have to do yoga the rest of this week.

  15. RUN
good Neighborhood 5+mi loop 5.27 mi

Got Brian out for a run with me. I actually probably logged 6 or 6.5 miles because I would run ahead and then run back to jog with him once I would reach a street that we were going to turn at (or... read more

  18. RUN
    Running + Yoga 2 mi

Starting running my loop and my legs felt.like.lead. I finished two miles and finished up with 30 minutes of yoga. Hoping for better luck on the running later this week.

  19. RUN
    tired Neighborhood Loop 4 mi

I've basically done nothing since my run in Arizona last week, yet my hamstrings were so tight and tired. This.Was.A.Struggle. Blah. Hated every mile of it.

  20. RUN
good Treadmill - Scottsdale, AZ 5 mi 00:38 07:36 pace

It's much to hot to run outside in AZ, so I hit up the treadmill for a 5 mile run. While I hate running on treadmills (and inside), it felt good to be able to knock the running out while on m... read more
