  1. VELO
    Trainer ride 14 mi 00:48 17.6mph pace

Sufferfest - "The Wretched" - Warmer than yesterday, but that wind would have been a miserable ride!

  2. VELO
alright Gravel south and west 10.43 mi 01:09 9.1mph pace

Gravel, muck, snow, slush...wasn't sure if it would be better to attempt the road bike or gravel today. Still not sure the gravel was the right decision.

  3. VELO
good Basement Spin 20 mi 01:10 17.1mph pace

Sufferfest - "Hell Hath No Fury" - Haven't left home since the storm started aside from shoveling sessions. Ruts in the road by our place looked too deep for the MTB. "We do the... read more

  4. RUN
alright Windy run in the neighborhood 3.32 mi 00:32 09:38 pace

Streets were damp, but at least no snow!...and sunny, but windy. Warm enough to run with just a couple shirt layers..

  5. VELO
good Alda Loop plus some CAAP 25.13 mi 01:37 15.5mph pace

First time the road bike has been on the road and not the trainer for a while!

  6. walk
good Capital Ave 2.44 mi 00:39 16:04 pace

Body wasn't quite feeling a run, but it was too nice to be inside!

  7. VELO
good Tuesday Group Spin 15 mi 00:54 16.6mph pace

Spinervals - "Sweating Buckets"- Hip was stiff and sore today so didn't get any crazy cadence numbers, but otherwise not bad.

  8. VELO
good Snow, Gravel, Slush and Slop! 14.4 mi 01:25 10.2mph pace

Started cloudy and and snow was still pretty solid. The sun came out about halfway into the ride and the roads quickly became slushy and mucky. Sun felt good, though.

  9. VELO
good Tuesday Group Spin 15 mi 00:54 16.8mph pace

Spinervals - "Autumn Ride" - Used a different trainer. Effort required somewhere between the last 2 weeks. Hip was a little tight so didn't go too crazy. Still a good workout!

  10. VELO
good Gravel and Snow 18.15 mi 01:35 11.5mph pace

Yay! Guessed right on layers and also on the wind shift! Wind wasn't huge, but still nice when you don't have to fight it.

  11. RUN
alright Engleman and the 'hood 3.49 mi 00:32 09:16 pace

Felt like I had to learn to run again at the start. Back was a bit stiff from a fall on the ice earlier in the week.

  12. VELO
good Tuesday Group Spin 12 mi 00:40 18.2mph pace

CycleRobx - Grabbed the lower resistance trainer. Felt my legs needed a higher cadence workout tonight.

  13. VELO
good Chilly Gravel Ride 14.1 mi 01:18 10.8mph pace

Gravel roads were much improved over last weekend! Still some packed ice and snow where it's always in shadows. Legs were a bit soggy at the start, but came around as the ride went on.

  14. VELO
good Tuesday Group Spin 10 mi 00:39 15.4mph pace

CycleRobx - Short, but intense! Fun group at the cyclery. I used a trainer with a bit more resistance. Really felt it as the ride went on...

  15. RUN
good Engleman and Airport Rds 4.47 mi 00:42 09:26 pace

Neighborhood streets still pretty sketchy and sloppy. County roads were clear. Nice enough to run with a base layer and long sleeve shirt! Longest run since Decembrrr Dash. Had to walk just a bit a... read more

  16. VELO
    good Gravel/road mix 15.17 mi 01:30 10.2mph pace

Warmer this afternoon but still not enough to melt some of the snow/ice pack on the gravel roads. They were pretty treacherous! Took 1 small spill when I didn't see a rut under some blown snow... read more

  17. RUN
alright Resolution Run 1 mi 00:09:57 09:56 pace

The park trail was much improved over when I was there on Sunday. Could have run in road shoes 75% of the way. Trail shoes would have been perfect. There were times there wasn't enough cover o... read more

  18. VELO
good Crane Trust 15.6 mi 02:14 7.0mph pace

Riding fat bikes on trails at the Crane Trust. Varied conditions and surfaces. Breaking new trail through the crusty, icy snow is harder than it sounds! Side adventures just testing the bikes on va... read more

  19. RUN
good Pi Run on Ice! 3.14 mi 00:30 09:36 pace

Hard packed snow and ice on most of the streets. Ran in my carbide spikes. Really work great in these conditions! Had to seek out ice on the shoulders in a couple spots to keep them from wearing to... read more

  20. VELO
good "Gravel" Ride 12.5 mi 01:20 9.4mph pace

While technically mostly gravel roads, it was mostly snow from loose to hard packed, icy conditions. Wind kept getting stronger as the ride went on. Hardest part of the ride was in the crosswind. I... read more
