  3. RUN
good Balgay Hill - Intervals 2.3 km 00:20 13:59 pace

Accidentally took a week off running, here we go starting again :)

  4. VELO
    good Ninewells 9.2 km 00:38 9.0mph pace

Going to be very proud of myself when I can manage the hills better! Still, only walked the final bit of hill on the way home today.

  5. VELO
    great Ninewells 8 km 00:30 9.9mph pace

Finally got my bike out and tried out the 'alternative' route to Ninewells - guess what, it was fantastic! Can't believe it's taken me the best part of 3 years to realise that I... read more

It's the Dutch preferred way of transportation for a reason (well one of several reasons and side-effects)

I've missed it so much - the annoying thing is that part of the route is not along the roads and not lit - I think this is one of the reasons that I never tried it before, because it was winter when I first came up with the route :(

Can't quite cycle the whole of the final uphill yet - will be very pleased when I manage that :)

  6. RUN
good Balgay Hill - Intervals 2.15 km 00:20 14:58 pace

Lovely to be out in the cool, damp air after a very sweaty yoga class... legs were even more wobbly at the start than Tuesday.

  7. FIT
    good Forrest Yoga 01:30

Even sweatier (and more exhausting) than Tuesday's class!

  8. RUN
good Ardler Running Ladies 3.6 km 00:31 13:55 pace

Finally showed my face again at the running group, very glad that there were a couple other people that wanted to keep it slow and short! Nice little run through the woods.

  9. FIT
    good Vinyasa 01:30

One of those rare and wonderful Vinyasa classes where you make your way into a post that you've never managed before. And that on top of keeping up with the whole set of abs for probably the f... read more

  10. RUN
good Balgay Hill - Intervals 2.1 km 00:20 15:19 pace

Another baby run, on Vinyasa induced jelly legs.

  11. RUN
good Balgay Hill - Intervals 2.2 km 00:20 14:37 pace

A simple run-walk interval set, but I challenged myself by doing it on the hill rather than the flatter horseshoe route. A long way to go to regain some fitness, but getting off to a good start on ... read more

  12. FIT
    good Forrest Yoga 01:00

The yoga was sweatier than the baby run that followed

  13. walk
    good Ninewells 5 km 01:00 19:18 pace

First day of the summer vacation and what did I do, but go to the medical school for a couple of meetings... and sign myself up for a couple more next week. Such a daftie, I am!

  14. RUN
good Camperdown ParkRun 5 km 00:40 12:48 pace

Managed to squeeze this one in before heading off to Glasgow for an afternoon singing. Good 3-4 minutes faster than last week :)

  15. RUN
alright Ardler Running Ladies 6.2 km 00:50 13:06 pace

First half wasn't too bad, second half was an almighty struggle... but managed to go further than I expected so that's a bonus :)

  16. RUN
good Camperdown ParkRun 5 km 00:43 13:47 pace

So that makes 14.5km in the past 4 days, compared to 6.5km for the whole of February. No wonder my calf muscles are feeling more than a little bit tight.

  17. RUN
    good Run4It - Riverside 4.5 km 00:35 12:38 pace

One of the runners from my Wednesday night group suggested coming along to another group this evening - legs still feel heavy and slow, but that's nearly 10km in two days :)

  18. RUN
good Ardler Running Ladies 5 km 00:46 14:48 pace

Well, that was tough after an unintended break, but good to be back out there again.
