Didn't win a single thing. But we hit all the checkpoints!

  2. RUN
    blah Treadmill 6 mi 00:52 08:37 pace

I mixed up the intervals to make it interesting. Inserted 7 minute pace for 30 seconds up to 3 minutes. Speedwork didn't irritate my knee which is a huge plus, but I've done so little o... read more

Nice run with Holly. Glad to have it out of the way.

  4. RUN
    alright Aimless 8.14 mi

I was exhausted this morning so I slept in. 8 miles for me feels like eternity in the evening. Stuck dinner in the oven and just ran aimlessly for 40 minutes and then turned around.

Good for you for getting it done though. Most people would bag it. Are you following a training plan?

Training plan? Nope. Just trying to be consistent. Speedwork still aggravates my knee so I haven't done much of it.

Add me to that list. I've been playing with diet, and the scale just won't budge. I think I may need to shake up the running plan to get things going again.

  7. RUN

    alright Oakton 4 mi

Solo run. No horses this morning.

  9. RUN
    alright Vienna Metro 7 mi

We saw a man galloping on a horse down Lee Highway at 6:33am. He yelled "Howdy, Good Morning!" Apparently he was riding into DC to protest land use in Nevada. Hmmmm.......

  10. RUN

Still blah. They did well though!

  11. RUN
    tired Blah 6 mi

Had a raging migraine last night, fell asleep at 9:45 then woke up at 2:30am with the migraine gone but never fell back asleep :(. Finally just went for a (pathetic) run.

Day off today, but I got out to see the eclipse. I agree the color was a bit disappointing, but still pretty cool to see. Way to get it done.
