I ran to work this morning. I haven't done it in almost a year, the first and last time I ran to work was last June ( http://www.dailymile.com/people/gregstransform/entries/7965227 ) and I took a shorter route that I didn't remember so while I thought the run was going to be about 14.7 it ended up being 15.5. Last time I ran 7:55/mile pace, this time it was 7:06/mile. It was already mid 70s by the time I started and my only savign grace was that it was overcast the whole way. The toughest part was the 10 to 18 mph wind that was relentless which kind of rendered the 400 ft of net elevation drop moot. I wore my Camelbak for the first time in ages but I'm kind of glad I did. All in all it was a solid effort right at 72%HRR (147 bpm) the entire way which I'm pretty pleased with. Let's see what I can do tonight on the way home in 95F!

    @Jacob, I'm at 103 for the last 7 days right now, I'm trying to hit 125 miles / 200K for the week Mon-Sun. I think it's easily doable.

    @John, indeed I did. Left the house at 5:58, made it to work by 7:47. I planned on it.

    @Ed, yeah we do as well as a gym and a locker room. I also took work clothes and a second set of running clothes with me for the afternoon commute yesterday so I was all set.
