Just an easy run today. It is step back week so I'm taking it easy... I got lucky as the rain was pouring all night long but it stopped for an hour in the morning, just in time to get my run in and... read more

Great job again. I know your buddy Mark Miller! It was nice to meet you. I agree the racing were not favorable for any of us today. I can handle the heat but when you factor in humidity and wind it isnt a good end result most times. Nice to meet you in person. If you speak to Nina tell her hello and hope she is healthy running again. If it wasnt for her I would not know about daily mile. Lots of great people out there doing what we love to do no matter what the pace or skill set. God Bless ~ Joe

Thanks everyone! @Suann, Yeah, Mark is my AG nemesis. He was whopping me in the spring time and I was really hoping to close the gap by this fall thanks to some vigorous training. However it seems like Mark was doing the same and kept ahead of me.

@Corina, AG hardware is indeed nice. Too bad that there wasn't any at this race. I mean I did get a nice mug. tote bag and a hat but nothing that says 3rd place. But the best part is still the 59.30!

Lynn, I am OK. My son's soccer coach passed away and it really shook me up. It was sudden and totally unexpected. I'm coping with it but we haven't broken the news to my 5yo son yet. This will be his first mourning process and I don't know how he would take it.
