I am never voluntarily taking a month off running again. My leg muscles got so sore on the run and remained sore the next day after. I was never out of breath or necessarily tried, but my legs - both quads and right calf were sore. I had run 4 miles on Wednesday and taken 2 days off before this run. I cannot believe these were the same legs that ran over 1800 miles last year and two marathons. Ugh. Weather was decent anyway, upper 30's.
