  1. RUN
good Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:32 09:35 pace

It was pretty warm even at 6:00 AM, but at least I got up and out and ran. I just need to repeat that at least every other day to get myself back in the habit and back in shape.

  2. RUN
good Lithia Springs Reservoir Loop 3.17 mi 00:37 11:40 pace

I had a great run with my neighbor along a nearby trail around a reservoir lake in a heavily wooded area. Very scenic and great weather. The trail itself was energizing. I'm not sure why I have not... read more

  3. RUN
alright Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:35 10:35 pace

  4. RUN
alright Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:34 10:06 pace

  5. RUN
good Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:33 09:59 pace

Cool damp morning which was nice for running. Broke the 10 minute mile pace by a second.

  6. FIT
alright Some Spinning on the LifeCycle 00:24

I could not go out for a run this morning so I spent 24 minutes on the LifeCycle stationary bike. 24 minutes is the longest program it has unless you switch to manual. The machine dates back to 198... read more

It was a sunny Saturday morning.

  8. RUN
alright Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:36 10:43 pace

A few months ago I was able to run this distance at a 7:43 pace. Will it take a few months to get back to that pace? Ugh.

  9. RUN
alright Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:36 10:51 pace

Slower than I would like, but at least I'm starting to run on a semi-regular basis now.

  10. RUN
alright Pearl Out and Back 3.91 mi 00:39 09:50 pace

A little longer today with a serious hill midway.

  11. RUN
blah Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:35 10:28 pace

Heavy legs this morning, but the weather was nice.

Thanks Stephen. Not running is not an option and the early morning is the only time I can squeeze it in. Hopefully, it won't take too long to get back to the level of fitness I was at, but I'll try not to rush it.

  15. RUN
alright Down Burnett and back 3.33 mi 00:32 09:35 pace

One run a week is not enough, but I've been dealing with another cold. I've had more colds this season than last. This was a slow run, too. Well, something is better than nothing. The temperature ... read more

wonder sometimes if "another cold" is actually "remission of the old cold again" ...see a doctor if you have a cough that lasts more than six weeks, worked wonders for me :)

Ah, that's better. I was wondering because looking back I saw I had taken a month off last year while I recovered from a "six week cough." January was not a problem—but then again I didn't jump back into a 9 mile run :D Good to see you back!

Thanks. I got the idea to take a month off from you, but I see that you only took a week off this year. I'm not sure it was good thing. I did not necessarily get more rest, because i ended up staying up later since I did not have to get up so early. My knee is feeling better though and I'm ready to run. I was missing the hour long periods of solitude and benefits of a good workout.

I got excited about running 1,500 miles for the year, but not running 15 miles a day definitely made my knees feel better!
