  6. RUN
    good Hood 3.4 mi 00:25 07:21 pace

Not too bad of a run. My heart rate was all over the place for the first mile after jumping off my bike. Settled in for the rest and just over (2 minutes) my regular pace without cycling first.

  7. VELO
    good Hood 18.5 mi 00:55 20.2mph pace

Part 1 of brick workout. Great ride around the hood today. Perfect for training on hills. Picked up a 2.5 mph gain today from previous ride. The weights are paying off on the quads and hammies!!!

Sorry it wasn't the run you wanted. Still, 5 miles is a good way to get some distance in for the day and keep the legs going. Nice effort, hoping some cool breezes come your way.

Awesome effort - I think it's harder to run it on your own than in a race, you did great!
