When I got up this morning the temp was 10 degrees with a -7 degree wind chill. Even with all of the cold weather gear I own, I did not want to run outside in that wind chill. Off to my treadmill I went for a double digit run. Listened to several podcasts to pass the time. Got it done for another week. Average HR 153bpm.
On Monday I start an 8 week training plan for a half marathon. My next race is Saturday April 7th, the Lincoln Presidential 1/2 in Springfield, IL.

I just heard about thecSpringfield race yesterday. Think I will replace GO! Next year with this one. Great job on the run. Normally I am okay with the treadmill but I was so sunny it made me feel pinned in. Of course that sun is not warm today!

Good to know. I have heard GO! is super hilly. I train (when on the street) in a pretty hilly area so I am anxious to see how it compares. Have you run GO!?

That is a great treadmill run, Stan, awesome job on the 10 miler! We had similar (but colder) weather up here in Michigan, so I skipped this morning and will be doing my long run tomorrow instead.
