    good Hatha Yoga

Hot and sweaty, as per usual!

  6. RUN
    alright 2.3 mi 00:27 11:31 pace

First run back after an injury hiatus. It felt tight and sore, but not painful. Trying again on Wednesday night.

  7. VELO
    good 22 mi

Nice first "long" ride back on Little Grey. 10 miles to and from Fleet Feet, 12 miles of cheering on the running group and wishing I were running with them. At least I got some hill train... read more

  8. RUN
    alright 9.27 mi 01:48 11:37 pace

My lovely coaches planned out a nice hilly route for us today. ;) I struggled a lot through the first 5 miles, but the last 4 miles went pretty well, and we ended up coming in really close to the p... read more

Great job! You don't run with walk breaks anymore right? This is an awesome pace and I can't wait to catch up! :)

Nope, I'm working on trying to run things straight! We took about a 2 minute break in the middle to Gu and down some water. :)

That's awesome! I'm working up to it for shorter distances -- I'm up to 6.5 miles now -- but I don't think I'll ever race without walk breaks or even run much farther than this without walking but it's neat to see how far I can go.

  9. RUN
    blah 3.8 mi 00:40 10:31 pace

Speedwork - there was a 15 minute tempo section in the middle of this. I fetl like crap. But it got done!

  10. FIT
    good 01:30

Tried hot yoga for the first time at a new studio in town (http://hotyogavacaville.com/). I have never sweat so much in my life, I swear! Even during long runs! It really stretched me out, I have t... read more

  11. RUN
    great 4 mi 00:43 10:50 pace

Ran this one with two friends (Jaqueline and Becky) and even negative split the last 3 miles. Rocked it!

  12. RUN
    good 7.93 mi 01:29 11:13 pace

Ran this with Jaqueline and another buddy from my Fleet Feet group. We only took one Gu/water walk break, ran hills and flats, and kept it under our target pace of 11:30. Shin is still being bother... read more

  13. walk
    injured 00:30

Shins were way too bad to do hill repeats with the group. So I did a 30 minute walk and preserved the shins for the 8 miles they are going to do just fine at on Saturday.

  14. RUN
    injured 3.5 mi 00:38 10:51 pace

My shin is really, really cranky. But Jaqueline and I are in the zone, we just ran this one by feel and came out faster than the 11:30 easy pace we're supposed to do. That's awesome!

  15. RUN
    good 3.5 mi 00:39 11:00 pace

Totally stoked about the pace for our easy run, not so stoked about shin splints and feeling crappy.

  16. RUN
    great 7 mi 01:20 11:25 pace

Awesome long run, hit the pace we were shooting for! I was sluggish in the middle there but brought it home strong. Probably the best 7 mile training run I've done without a run/walk pattern.

Was totally on autopilot and it felt awesome!

  19. RUN
    3 mi 00:34 11:20 pace

Tonight's prescribed run was an "easy 3" and that's just what Jaqueline and I did. I love my running buddy! We're going to keep each other on track this training.

  20. RUN
    good 6 mi 01:08 11:20 pace

Vacaville Fleet Feet Fiesta Half training group's first long run. Aren't 6 mile long runs the best? :) I didn't push it too hard or fast and felt really great throughout. Took 3 walk... read more
