  18. So what do all you runners do for #StrengthTraining?

      I do 45 minutes - an hour of upper body weights 3 times a week. I don't do legs. My legs get enough exercise when I run. I do dumbbell bicep curls (I get in about 60 reps on 25 pounders). I do the chest machine, 50 reps at 120 lbs. The seated row with 100 lbs, I do 60 reps there. I do 100 reps on the ab machine with 90 pounds. Then I 75 reps on a tricep machine at 150 lbs. I also do another chest machine with ropes that you pull in front of you . . . 50 reps at 60 lbs. So yea, all upper body.

      Plus I was told that leg weight workouts would be good for my knees. I tried it and my knees got worse. So I dumped that idea and decided to just focus on the upper body.
