Once I warmed up, I felt really good and was able to finish strong. Descended my mile pace. Cooled down on a mile walk with my dog.

RUN
good 6 mi 00:58 09:39 pace
Felt pretty good and actually enjoyed running in the light rain. My knee and hip started to tighten up in the last mile, so I walked the last .5 mile.

Hope you are feeling better- just saw that you too had the case of "the bug" that has been making the rounds in this area. My daughter had a touch of it last week. Yake care of that knee/hip. Whatever you do, if you start hurting during the race next weekend, don't push yourself to the point where you can't "run/walk" through it. i've been there. :)

Thanks, Todd. I'm running the National Half Marathon in DC. I haven't really been able to get past this knee thing, so I'm hopeful I'll be able to at least stay under the qualifying time, even if I have to walk a bit!
