what started out as a recovery run to start 2012, ended up being a great run to start. The effort was good and relaxed. My legs responded better than I had imagined since I just finished my highest mileage week since April.
After an easy 2 mile warmup, I wanted to see what could happen, and ended with my fastest mile split since the weeks prior to the OKC marathon in May.
I hope this trend continues for 2012.
