Well I have scaled it back due to my knee injury. I have done a few short runs leading up to this one, but this was my longest run in about a month. I was not able to run with my marathon training group (they are running 14 miles today - I'm so jealous and proud of them at the same time). I ran with the half marathon training group and it was fine. Towards the end I had to slow to a turtle's pace to satisfy my left knee, but again I was just happy to be running. Even if after the fact I have to sit here with burning eyes from icy hot fumes :)
