good Virginia Beach, VA 4.01 mi 00:41 10:14 pace
This morning was my last run on the beach in Virginia Beach (Sandbridge). As usual, it was a beautiful morning inspite of the temp being 79 when I walked out of the condo. With my 4.01 mi run thi... read more

Great job getting your runs in on vacation. I think it seems slower 'cause you don't have the Running Buddies to talk to. Also, the routes are new and it always seems to take longer on unfamiliar routes. Finally, you are probably also enjoying different food and your body isn't getting it's normal routine of back home. Look forward to running with you when you get back.

RUN
good Virginia Beach, VA 3.15 mi 00:30 09:22 pace
I had way too many "All you can eat" wings at Hooter's last night and I felt it this morning! But I am so glad that I ran because I feel much better now than if I had not!

Good job! It's tough to get your running in while also enjoying the good food on vacation.

RUN
alright Virginia Beach, VA 3.18 mi 00:30 09:35 pace
It sucked! Felt like the first time I ever ran, EVER! Hot, humid and uh.... Let's just say that I need to run more than once every 3-4 days to stay regular. ;)

If it makes you feel any better, I bailed on this morning's run. I'm still wiped out from yesterday. Good job getting out there and doing it.

Not really. It's too unusual for you to skip a morning run for that to make anyone feel better! How was your Monday run?

The 5K was ok, but it caused my shin splints to flare up. I'm taking zeros the rest of the week until Saturday when I'll attemp to run again. I was on pace for my biggest month yet, too. Oh well.

Great job today, George, and thanks for driving. We'll always remember this one for Mr. and Mrs. Bucyrus and Donald's dogs. :)

Good job George - when I saw your post I was reminded that I said I would start today. Peer pressure ya know. Thanks for getting us there safely (and back home).
