Warmed up for about 10 minutes and did another 5 easy at the end, so in the 45 minutes at threshold intensity I ran 8.6 miles.
This is about 5:15 per mile which probably explains why I found myself wanting to quit after less than 30 minutes!
Pretty pleased with this run as there were probably several points where I was running sub 5 minute mile pace.
I still have a 10 mile threshold run to do before the marathon and this session has given me loads of confidence for that.
Definitely something in this "train twice a week" idea!
