alright 4x10min threshold 01:00

10 minute warm up, then 4 x 10 minutes at threshold intensity. I wanted to take the duration down a notch this week as I found it really hard mentally last week with my 25min / 20min threshold run.

I did it on the grass (round and round a load of rugby pitches - not exactly inspiring!) which is probably why I found it tough going. My legs also felt heavy still from Sunday's long run which might account for why each run got a bit slower.

I did some foam rolling on my legs before I went out for the run and this certainly helped give me a bit of springiness, but running on the grass is always tougher than the road even if it is better on the joints!
