good Hills and wind and trails, oh my! 9.43 mi 01:46 11:17 pace

Wow. My first ever truly hilly run, plus my first trail run, plus my first time doing the stairs at Red Rocks, all in one! We started from Green Mountain and ran up and over Dinosaur Ridge, around Red Rocks, up the stairs in the amphitheatre, back down and over Dinosaur Ridge again, then finished up with a couple of miles of trail around Green Mountain, just as the snowflakes started flying. The wind was killer on the east side of ridge, a little more sheltered behind it, thankfully! A fun run with some new friends!

    Thanks everyone! Kendra...I'll let you know. :-) Right after, my knees were sore, but an ice bath seems to have helped that! It was hard, but not AS hard as I thought it would be...the intimidation factor is mostly gone now!

    Ok, the verdict is in...calves are totally fine, but my HIPS are killing me! OW. And I even took an ice bath yesterday and foam rolled last night. Hoping a recovery swim at the Y helps loosen things up!
