    Took my buddy out there to check out the hardest part of the course. I am pacing him from 33 next weekend. Good stuff. Epic views. Tonto National Forest never disappoints.

      Wow - what a race! Refusing to quit on a day like that is a huge victory in my book. This kind of race proves badass-ness far more than any "lovely, flat 50 miler"!
