Most challenging swim workout I've ever done. 300 warm up,16x25 on 15 sec rest, Main set: (3x50) on 5 sec rest, (6x150) 1 minute rest, (8x100) 30 sec rest, 100 Cool Down. Main set in zone 4/5. I could practically feel the lactate dripping from my arms.


Not a whole lot of recovery in between some tough sets!!! Great job!!!

That looks like a tough workout. My arms got tired just reading about it.

I did the first set of the 25s pretty hard and that just made the rest of the workout almost impossible. I did my first 150 and wasn't sure I was going to make it through the rest. I told myself I could have Sonic breakfast if I did it all. It was delicious! ;-)

Now that is what I call active recovery!!!!! Makes me hungry just thinking about it. I'm going to do a midweek 15-20 mile ride & 3 mile run brick tonight if anybody is interested in joining.
