  2. RUN
alright Short morning run 3.5 mi 00:25 07:05 pace

I'm going to start running in the morning as often as I can. The air is a lot cleaner and clearing the sinuses is the best way to start the day.

  3. RUN
    tired the regular 5 3.1 mi 00:23 07:21 pace

Today I figured out that I get sick when I don't run more regularly - I've only run about 4 times in the past 30 days - and I've been feeling pretty awful with Strep throat and an upper sinus infec... read more

  4. RUN
blah to the track and back 6.1 mi 00:41 06:38 pace

I felt every chip, beer, margarita, you name it, that I've had the past few weeks. My shin even started bothering me again (not to mention chest pains at some point). It's time for detox - eat heal... read more

No, I was way too tired after the third mile, so I just kept it sub-7. They did help me go a couple of extra miles though. ;)

Barely kept up, then dropped with about 2 to go.

  7. RUN
blah hills in the heat 4 mi 00:30 07:36 pace

Stupid me ran just before noon on a day where it is supposed to get to 101. On the upside, my sinuses haven't been this clear in a long, long time! I can breathe again. :)

  8. RUN
great home to the track 6.11 mi 00:39 06:18 pace

    I've been feeling lazy so I did a 3-mile tempo tonight. 6:03, 5:56, 6:01.

  9. RUN
alright Kentucky, the humid state 5 mi 00:34 06:52 pace

Once the excitement of running in a new place wore off, I thought I was going to die. It felt like I was getting peed on by the devil -- I had so much sweat rolling off my body and into my shorts. ... read more

  10. RUN
good too short 2 mi 00:13:05 06:32 pace

Had to get in a quick run since I'm going back to my favorite mexican place (2nd day in a row). Time for more margaritas, chips, & salsa!

  11. RUN
    good Frontrunners 5k 3.12 mi 00:18 05:41 pace

I ran this 5k thanks to an invitation from Ashley A. and Maria H. I typically only race when I seriously train for it, but this one was worth the exception since it was close and included a fun aft... read more

What? Since when did they add the "badass" motivation!? Thanks a lot for that. And a pink tutu isn't enough? Quote of the day: "I like your tutu, but I wish you didn't wear the shorts underneath." 8|

Ran without music and before eating, but still felt heavy from yesterday. 5:50, 6:30, 6:12, 6:33 (.1). I only need to knock off 10 seconds to reach my goal on Sunday, though I think there will be m... read more

  15. RUN
tired neighborhood hills 4 mi 00:29 07:19 pace

Too much Memorial Day Weekend fun made me feel blah today. I forced myself to run anyway and hope to be ready for a long trail run tomorrow.

  16. RUN
    good neighborhood 3 miler 3 mi 00:18 06:08 pace

5:30, 6:44, 6:02. Started off way to fast, but had to get this run done quickly. Too bad for the slow, slightly inclined mile 2.

  17. RUN
    good same 4 4.1 mi 00:25 06:06 pace

Felt great on this run - arms didn't even feel heavy after doing some light lifting & pushups. Put in a little extra effort towards the end to maintain the pace.

    5:59, 6:12, 6:13, 6:06, 5:46 (.1)
