    Ran 10 miles and it felt like 20! Some days the mental push is harder than the physical reality. Glad to move into taper phase! Berlin Marathon in 15 days.

    Battled my lungs this morning--guessing ragweed is the culprit. The rolling hills of 16th street definitely pushed me too. Still a good way to start a day filled with meetings.

    Humidity + Hill + Lack of Hydration = Hard Run. Ran to DC and back. Traveling to Chicago tomorrow, so had to get the mile in this morning. The joys of marathon training.

    Not even the beauty of Sligo Creek Trail could make me forget about the humidity. One mile in and I was dripping. By mile two, I was soaked.

    It was a hard run. My calves were on fire. I forgot about the hills in Wheaton Region Park. My mind carried my legs the last four miles. Just happy it is over!

    Six miles, including the last 1.5 in a downpour. After back-to-back Saturday long runs of 18, 16, and 20 miles, it was nice to take it easy. Keeping with my schedule, feeling good.

    Another six miles the hard away . . .insomnia sucks! On about 2.5 hours of sleep, I headed out for my run. Not easy running when you are tired, but in the end I felt much better.

    Ugh! My watch died at 12.63 miles of my 20-mile run. I had to record the rest on MapMyRun. And of course Garmin isn't importing the gpx file.
