  1. RUN
    alright Street + Trail + Track 10.05 mi 01:48 10:47 pace

Ran 10 miles and it felt like 20! Some days the mental push is harder than the physical reality. Glad to move into taper phase! Berlin Marathon in 15 days.

  2. RUN
good Sligo Creek Trail 8.3 mi 01:26 10:21 pace

Nice to wake up to cool weather. Had to push myself out the door, but I got my run done. Happy Friday!

  3. RUN
alright Around the Neighborhood 6.02 mi 01:09 11:23 pace

Battled my lungs again . . . hate allergy season! And I forgot my headlamp. Miss daylight on my early morning runs. END whining.

On the plus side, I got a shout out from an old lady staying on ... read more

  4. RUN
    alright MD - D.C. Rolling Hills Run 10.02 mi 01:48 10:48 pace

Battled my lungs this morning--guessing ragweed is the culprit. The rolling hills of 16th street definitely pushed me too. Still a good way to start a day filled with meetings.

  7. RUN
alright MD to D.C. and Back 9.12 mi 01:40 10:55 pace

Humidity + Hill + Lack of Hydration = Hard Run. Ran to DC and back. Traveling to Chicago tomorrow, so had to get the mile in this morning. The joys of marathon training.

  8. RUN
    alright Colesville Road 0.6 mi

My Garmin missed .6 miles up Colesville Road. I had to hit start again.

  9. RUN
alright Sligo Creek Trail North 6.43 mi 01:09 10:44 pace

Not even the beauty of Sligo Creek Trail could make me forget about the humidity. One mile in and I was dripping. By mile two, I was soaked.

Good job getting it done Gail. After running in the humidity yesterday, I've decide I'll have to run indoors or not at all.

  10. RUN
alright Sligo Creek and Wheaton Regio... 20.04 mi 03:46 11:16 pace

  14. RUN
good Around the Neighborhood 6.07 mi 01:05 10:44 pace

Six miles, including the last 1.5 in a downpour. After back-to-back Saturday long runs of 18, 16, and 20 miles, it was nice to take it easy. Keeping with my schedule, feeling good.

  15. RUN
tired Sligo Creek Trail 6.02 mi 01:03 10:25 pace

During the run my Garmin band broke (pin fell out and couldn't find it). Silent scream!@$!

  16. RUN
alright Sligo Creek Trail 6.15 mi 01:05 10:33 pace

Another six miles the hard away . . .insomnia sucks! On about 2.5 hours of sleep, I headed out for my run. Not easy running when you are tired, but in the end I felt much better.
