good Mom's BBQ - 11 11.58 mi 01:23 07:09 pace

Day 56: Another split run - 4 to get to my parents house for a family BBQ and 7 to get back home (I took the long way). On the way back I think I didn't wait long enough for my food to digest so when I started out I felt like I had done 1000 crunches. Not a pleasant experience but when that feeling subsided I picked up the pace for a nice progression type finish. Definitely feel like I'm the groove of the 11's now.

The first split was about exactly 4 and was 27:34 (6:55 I think) and I just paused the timer and started again to get the total time so if you wanna do the math your welcome to. the 2nd run was definitely slower pace cause of the digestion issues but like I said, I did pick it up when that subsided. i am really liking progression runs/fast finish. Makes me more confident in my ability to properly pace a race.
