The first mile was at the track with the kids. After work i negotiated a trip to the park with the track right next to the playground so I was able to get my little racer to do two laps with me before retreating to the swings, and i did another 2 before joining them.

The 3 was my usual late post-kid bedtime run. Took it easy. No watch, no music. Lots of thinking time about the race.
