Was planning on an 18 miler at least, but the new trail I was on came out a mile down the road from where I expected it to, and didn't feel like back tracking so I settled for 16. Feel like I cheated. Oh well, I guess its time to taper anyways. Going to do one more short Bear Brook run next weekend, this time with my brother who lives in DC (actually virginia). Looking forward to that.
Good luck to Mindy R. and Brian R. who both decided it would be a good idea to run up Loon Mt on Sunday.

You've done enough 20 milers that doing a shorter run this week is probably good for you (call it a step-back week). Nice job getting in a lot of miles on a hot and humid morning!
