good Spinervals- "Have Mercy" 17.24 mi 01:09 15.0mph pace

I was originally aiming for 2 hrs, believe it or not. And then around 40 min I decided that 1.5 hours was plenty, because I had to make dinner for friends coming over, etc etc. And THEN, at 1:08:45, I very very suddenly became ravenously hungry. So I stopped after about two seconds of deliberation and ate a Luna protein bar. YUCK. Those things (or at least, the cookies n' cream flavor) are GROSS. I bought two to try because they're the "bar of the month" at REI. Will not purchase them again. After the Luna bar fiasco, I decided to hop in the shower and make dinner instead of getting back on the bike. ::sigh:: the feeling option above is still "good", though, because up until my very very sudden bonk, I felt pretty good... strong, even.

Workout details: a selection of exercises (mostly tempo and high-cadence-- with a few grinders) from the Spinervals "Have Mercy" video. I fast forwarded through the hill reps (I had done those earlier this week) and the isometric squats (ew. no thanks. i'll stay on my bike during "biking" workouts). My cat stepped on the keyboard a couple of times and (I assume) accidentally fast forwarded through a couple of reps, which I then rewound and re-did.
