good Island Lake Loop 30.7 mi 02:03 15.0mph pace

Have been slow to get back in the saddle... this was the third and longest ride since May (and since I got home exactly one month ago today :P). Felt great! Legs weren't nearly as rubbery on the hills, and I was able to push it a little on some of them. Flats felt good, and was able to keep up a conversation while not totally relaxing the pace (though the pace was considerably more relaxed than it used to be). Went with Perry and Nina, and stopped for a long-ish break half-way for pumpkin doughnuts and apple cider... which of course negated any and all calories burned on this one! I passed 4000 bike-miles on this ride (in the life of the bike, not this season). Hooray!
