great Monday Masters' Swim 2600 yd 01:30 60:55 pace

My first time ever at Masters' Swim! I was really nervous (dorkily so)... I latched on to Nina and her roommate, Michelle. I had done one "practice run" doing intervals with Nina back in Oct/Nov, and didn't really understand the concept. But, as long as I wasn't leading, I think it was okay. The other folks in my lane were really nice, and no one was super fast (all about my pace or slower... granted, we were in the slowest lane :P) nor seemed super competitive (but who knows? ;)). In all, it was really fun! I'll go back on Weds for the stroke session. Maybe I'll make it a 2-3x per week thing, to mix up with the biking (esp. since I don't think I'll race bikes this summer). I was lamenting how flabby my arms were getting, after all...
