Took off with my group starting at 7 am. First 2 miles were casual in a big pack but then everyone took off in their separate little packs. I ran with coach and two girls who run college CC. At mile 6 everyone turned around except me and one girl who went on to 7. This is one of the hilliest routes you can do in SA I think. Long, steep, and rolling. Definitely drained me a bit and we didn't slow down through them at all. This was the furthest, hardest training run I've done and it wasn't THAT bad. We took mile 11 easy and finished it with a bang at 7:50s. Definitely tight and needing a stretch and sticking!
