I may need to slow it down in the tiniest bit. Slowing it down may not be the best way to think of it. It's more of a, enjoy an off season type of thing. Since January I have done: one 5k (17:18), one half marathon @ MP (~1:28), one trail 50k (4:22), one road marathon (2:59), one trail marathon (all day), and one 203 mile relay race where I ran 20 miles at basically 10k race effort over the course of 23 hours on no sleep. I'd say that's a VERY successful winter/spring. Now for summer, base training. Miles, miles, miles, fast feet, and a slow build to a hopefully VERY strong marathon in October. I'll do some short races in NYC and I'll enjoy the slow progression that comes from another 5 months of consistency.
