I have problems with my hips and back due to arthritis and find that yoga stretches for the back and ones called "hip openers" have really helped with my pain and flexibility. If you try some out, do them for a couple of weeks before you decide if they're helping. Don't feel that you have to do the complete move. Go slow and breathe through them. Good luck!
