I did it! 12k! My entire marathon relay route!! Wooo! This wasn't the most stellar time ever, but I am just relieved to have COMPLETED it after a not very great week. I haven't run in many many days, then I kinda of wrecked my calves on the stairs workout, so I was trepidatious. The first mile I was wincing and hobbling. By mile 3 I felt GREAT, like I could go forever. By mile 6, not so much (heh) but I finished it up. I hope I can get down to 13:00pace by relay day, but if not... at least I know I can go this distance. By far my LONGEST RUN EVER.
