    It went pretty well. This was the first day of my half-marathon legitimate training. I walked two miles, ran one mile, then walked another two, just like the training paper said.

    For some reason I just cannot seem to push myself to run the entire time. It's not that I hurt or am extremely tired, it's just a complete mental thing of giving up. I need to work on that.

    I ran around 11:00 am, so it was really hot out and I was super sweaty. I didn't run the entire time, but I would run for a while and then walk and continue to switch on and off.

    It was far too hot and humid to really have a good run. For some reason my calve was really painful to run on. I can only hope that it doesn't persist in the future.
