good ORRC Vernonia Half Marathon 13.1 mi 02:31 11:30 pace

I was using this as a training run for upcoming Eugene 1/2 in May. This is the longest I've run since December when my achilles issue surfaced. It was one of those races, could not get into my rythmn. Weather cooperated as it did not rain on us, temp was perfect for running. This time was my actual running time, minus pit stops. Offical race time was 2:35:58. Good enough to take 4th place in my age group. WOO HOO!!! Also won a ORRC fleece vest in the raffle drawing. Great race, beautiful scenery and I met a lot of other wonderful runners. I love it when the fast guys run by shouting out encouragement. It's was a great day!!!
