blah New England Half Marathon 13.1 mi 03:00 13:42 pace
I'm so glad I ran this race, although it wasn't a good one. I knew going into it that my left hip felt off and that I would most likely have IT band problems. And I've been running... read more

Nice job Miriam! I hear you on the no shirts in my size thing-probably one of my biggest pet peeves! I think that race directors should not allow folks to swap sizes until AFTER the race. It's not my fault that someone orders a small and realizes they need an XL. I know what size I need and I order that size darn it! We had the same experience with the water stations and the food when we did Old Port two years ago-and a different issue with timing (mine was off by and hour!!!).

Nice job! I've been hearing some terrible things about this years race, and the water and food situations. Plus bad treatment by the organizers. Sad. I was hoping to run it next year but I think I'll keep looking.

@Carrie, it's a great race, the course is beautiful. But they need to finish working out the kinks still.
