Well the pouring rain I expected did not develope but it was 75* and 110%++ humidity. Started at 5:15. Because of the heat and humidity it was hard to keep heart rate down to zone 2 where it was supposed to be except for 3 minute surges every 20 minutes and at end. Average HR 144. The last 5 miles or so I really had to concentrate on form and mentally stay focused drawing on past races and runs. I had genucan prior, 3 Endurolytes prior and 3 more every 40 minutes or so and 3 Hammer gels one at 1 hour and 1 at 2 hours and 1 at 2:30 and a protein genucan at end. A good run but I'd like 55* and no humidity please!
