Mac, good question. I just feel better with more miles! I probably did 40-50 miles for my first marathon in 2005 and just slowly increased from there.

Every now and then I will get a shock like feeling in my ankle (either one) and have to limp for awhile and then it goes away as quick as it came. Who knows what that is, but it doesn't linger...
