  1. FIT
    good Arthur's Seat - St Anthony's ... 5.75 km

Sunny morning, so got out there before work. Wanted to run, but legs were not woken up yet, so it was downgraded to a hike. Either way, it was beautiful start to the day! 341m total ascent, and bea... read more

  6. walk
good Loch Leven Nature Trail 4.9 km 00:45 14:46 pace

Didn't want to finish the week on 97km, so took a wee walk along the Loch Leven trail. Looks like a good place to run, so will keep it in mind.

  7. VELO
    blah TT session Gear 15 / Tension 4 20 km 00:40 18.6mph pace

After earlier tyre issues, my heart wasn't really into this one. Whimpered out after 20km, not even half the distance I was aiming for. Ah well, until another day....

  8. 45mins to change a racing bike tyre :(( HATE changing tyre, especially the rear as you start off getting a nice coating of oil when removing the chain from the cog.

Sorry for the pains. I don't know how much you know about changing tires, but I'm learning. Put the chain on the smallest ring on the cassette (furthest to the outside). That will help. I use a leaf, stick, anything I can find to lift the chain off the cassette when removing and reinstalling the wheel. It keeps my hands pretty clean. Hope that helps.

good Falkland - East Lomond 3.5 km 01:10 32:11 pace

Quick hike up the East Lomond - just wanted to check how long the route takes, as I might start using it in the evenings. 1hr 10mins, without trying too hard, so I will take 1hr as my 'workout... read more

    great TT session - Gear 15 / Tension 4 45 km 01:36 17.5mph pace

Weather was looking bad last night, so I hooked the bike up to the trainer for today. Yawned and slogged my way through the first 22km, listening to the football on the radio.
