Met up with a few people from NJ Trail and Ultra Runners forum for a trail run in Ringwood State Park. Nice easy effort with a few stops along the way.
Finally got a chance to really test out my Salomon Speedcross 3s. I think I'm really going to like running in them. Very light and comfortable with great traction. No hot spots on my feet even after 4+ hours over uneven terrain with minimal previous wear.

Great 16 mile trail run. Enjoy your Salomon's. They heavily advertised in the recent special trail edition of Runner's World! Looking at a pic of the SC-3's now! Sweet looking. I need to seek out two pairs of socks they reviewed too: Injinji performance series midweight toe socks & Asics Trabuco Wool Quarter Socks! Enjoy!

Great run Edward...I like Speedcross too...I even run an 100 miler with them...finished 4th..;-) They are great! I also use Hoka Mafate 2, which is a completely different story...;-)

How's Salomon on their running shoes???

Not sure about road shoes. Their trail shoes seem to have a good rep and I like the pair I picked up recently. I have a couple of long trail races this summer. Will probably wear my Salomons for both.
