Eight miles of hills before a quick group run. Tired the last few days. Maybe it's the weather. Definitely the warmest it's been so far this year.

6:12 in a training run. Never raced a mile. But I think I have 5:45 in me. I should do a mile race one of these days before I get much older.

Wow, can't believe how well recovery is going. Still not 100% aerobic capacity but legs feel fantastic. Especially compared to what I felt like on Monday.

Fantastic racing & race report! Thanks for posting some detail. Broken rock for 50 miles sounds really tough on the feet & shoes. I keep seeing Salomon shoes in my TrailRunner magazine... may have to check them out & mix a pair in with my NewBalance Minimi! And it does seem all "real" trail distance runners use handhelds so you're in good company! Onward to Leadville!!!

tired HOHA Monday Night 5.09 mi 00:46 08:59 pace
At first I wasn't sure if my hamstring was going to loosen up enough to let me run. But after about a mile things started to feel better. Nice slow effort.
