Here's the what Nick and I did. We ran a hillier, longer course than two weeks ago. We also decided to sacrifice pride for the sake of endurance and injury, and planned out some walking points where we could recoup and we moved through the course. It was smart, because we didn't feel nearly as terrible at the end. Still miserable, don't get me wrong, but uninjured. I do need to fuel more, because I felt sick and malnutritioned in the end.... Our last long run before SF! We do 13 next Saturday. 8 the following Saturday. Then it's race day. (Post Script: Look at how many calories we burned on this run. Sick.)
