Had to wait until the kids were off to bed to strap on the headlamp and head out for a brisk night run under a crisp, clear black sky, a full moon and the constellation Orion. Felt great, easy aerobic pace. Legs and lungs happy; if not for that achin' knee it would have been perfect.

So listen.... try hot yoga for your knee. The heat is amzing..does wonders.. and the bikram 26 postures are specifically dsigned to heal.... a LOT of focus on healing joints.... crosstraining with this in the winter would be awesome for you. I am so much more flexible and os many corrections in my muscoskeltal since i started. Cold and repetition are a touhg combo for the winter runner.... hot yoga... you will LOVE it. Find the bikrma studio in manchester there has to be one. easy as pie...

Thanks all! I think the knee will be fine; it's annoying but sure not the most painful thing that's gone wrong in the past four or five years of running (IT band, hamstring, Achilles, shin splints, etc.). From that perspective, I should probably be glad! Ana, yes, I absolutely need to do more cross training!
