So listen.... try hot yoga for your knee. The heat is amzing..does wonders.. and the bikram 26 postures are specifically dsigned to heal.... a LOT of focus on healing joints.... crosstraining with this in the winter would be awesome for you. I am so much more flexible and os many corrections in my muscoskeltal since i started. Cold and repetition are a touhg combo for the winter runner.... hot yoga... you will LOVE it. Find the bikrma studio in manchester there has to be one. easy as pie...

Thanks, Joe! Except I'm just going to be a fan in April. I revised my plans to a spring half and a fall marathon in order to take a little more time healing up.

Sounds like a wise decision Ernesto, no sense taking chances. Looking at Wallis Sands on 5/6 myself. I've heard good things about it.

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions! Wallis Sands and the Big Lake are both right in the time frame I was thinking of! Which one is less hilly? ;)

    • Matt B.

I'm doing Twin Lights down in Gloucester, MA (my hometown) - less hilly than Big Lake, but my understanding is that Wallis Sands is almost totally flat. (Twin Lights is May 12 as well - although you can't go wrong with Big Lake)
