  1. RUN
    alright Post-Moving Run with H 4.53 mi 00:40 08:45 pace

Running after moving all week is not a great idea. Good company, but not a great run. We were both tired and sore, but work got done!

  2. RUN
good Catalyst Group Run 6.09 mi 00:51 08:22 pace

Hot and sweaty! First real "summer" run. Gross. Not a bad run, though, all things considered.

  3. RUN
great Biking in Bemidji 40.05 mi 02:30 03:44 pace

First long bike ride on the road bike! Nice trail. Very flat with a few crossings. Learned some things about the bike and biking, generally. For instance, one bottle is not enough for 40 miles.

  4. RUN
great Benders Run 5.07 mi 00:41 08:07 pace

A good run. A bit warm, and the flies were annoying, but nice to get out on the road and a break from the family.

  5. RUN
    alright Speedwork with H 7.51 mi 01:09 09:11 pace

Speedwork with H. She set the paces. It was pretty much the worst weather imaginable. Heavy rain, wind, lightning. Stuck it through like a champ, though!

  6. RUN
alright Catalyst Group Run 5.05 mi 00:41 08:07 pace

Ran with a new guy, Mark. Solid 8:00 pace. Legs are pretty rough after Ragnar. Hot, too. A good run, though.

  7. RUN
    great RAGNAR - 2nd Leg 5.27 mi 00:38 07:07 pace

My second leg of the RAGNAR Madison to Chicago Relay. Odd running at 4 am, but kind of nice, too. Felt strong. Awesome run. 10 kills.

  8. RUN
    great RAGNAR - 3rd Leg 4.6 mi 00:32 07:00 pace

Final leg of Ragnar. Nice to run at a normal time again, and with food in the belly. Extremely happy with this leg and the entire Ragnar experience. 16 kills, baby!

Wow, awesome pace on all three runs! I saw you at the finish line! We were pretty exhausted and left pretty quick!

  9. RUN
    great RAGNAR - 1st Leg 6.91 mi 00:50 07:15 pace

My first leg of the RAGNAR Madison to Chicago Relay. Felt strong. Awesome run. 7 kills.

  10. VELO
good SISU Ride 19.39 mi 01:23 14.0mph pace

First outdoor group ride! Went well. Could have pushed more, but bad tires and rain kept me on edge. H was super helpful!

  11. RUN
good Catalyst Group Run 6 mi 00:50 08:19 pace

Catalyst run time! Ran with Franz, Erin and Tim. Erin wanted to do 6 miles at under 9:00/mile pace...we did 8:20/mile. Great success!

  12. VELO
First Outdoor Ride 4.1 mi 00:18 13.5mph pace

Finally got the bike off the trainer. It wasn't much; just wanted to get the wheels under me again. Turns out it is just like riding a bike!

  13. VELO
great Bike Training 16.01 mi 00:40 23.9mph pace

Testing out the garmin monitor. It works!

  14. RUN
    good Lake Mills Triathlon Relay - 5k 2.97 mi 00:20 06:42 pace

Haven't raced a 5k in a long time. Started the watch a bit late, hence the short distance. Official time was 19:54. Haven't broken 20 minutes since HS! (Also haven't raced a 5k since... read more

  15. RUN
good Catalyst Group Run 5.23 mi 00:45 08:34 pace

First real training run since the marathon. Ran with the group, then sped it up with H. She didn't like that...

  16. RUN
alright FOO Run 3.01 mi 00:30 10:05 pace

Marathon recovery. Still feeling pretty beat up. Ran with Heather and it was all I could do to maintain 10:00/mile pace.

  17. RUN
good Green Bay Marathon 26.59 mi 03:46 08:30 pace

Marathon time! A good race. A bit warm, but that didn't really come into play until miles 18+. Felt good about pacing until the end. Happy overall.

  18. RUN
great Wednesday FOO Run - Taper 4 mi 00:35 08:50 pace

Last run before the Green Bay Marathon. Nice and easy was the goal.

  19. RUN
great Catalyst Group Run 5.07 mi 00:44 08:41 pace

Taper week continues. Ran with Tim for 5 miles nice and easy. Was able to find the various tempos and everything felt comfortable. Getting ready...

  20. RUN
good Sunday FOO Run 12 mi 01:46 08:47 pace

Last actual run before taper. Ran 12 with Andy and Lyndsey. Felt good overall. Legs were shot by the end. Taper begins.
