Nice review. I'm a big SJ fan so I know it's just a matter of time before I read this one. :)
(PS Enjoyed reading the Congo posts. I kind of skimmed due to time, but I am going to go back and REALLY read them. That sounds life-changing!)

I ploughed through the book in 2 days, and really enjoyed it too. I wish I would have known he was in Arlington--so close.

I loved this book. Great review! I've tried a few of the recipes... The strawberry pancakes, red curry almond sauce and slaw, and the tempeh with the almond sauce. I decided to try eating vegan for a week after I read the book just to test it out. It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't missed animal products at all. In fact I have lost my almost constant craving for peanut m&m's which makes me happy :)

@Jen A. I gave a plant-based diet a trial run too. I decided to try it for ONE day just to see how it went. That was almost 2 years ago.

Read this review, loved the sound of it - only to find out that it's not out in the UK until 5th July! Almost two weeks to wait! Nooo!
