Sorry about your pups' health issues, Erica. I know how stressful that stuff can be. Glad you were able to get out for a run today, at least! I agree about how it felt outside... beautiful, just too darned hot for February.

I hope your vet suggested that you use a harness instead of a collar. I realize that there are different levels of this since small dogs are prone to collapsing tracheas.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is put on our running shoes, and get out the door. But that is such a good way to release some stress. My daughter has been sick since 2 weeks before Christmas, and has been in the hospital twice. She's recovering at home this week, and running has been a good way to release some of my anxiety. Keep at it. Glad that your dad is doing better, and prayers for your puppy. Hugs and sprinkles.

Hope everything takes an upturn for you soon. The only way I can ever beat the stress of dealing with tweens all day long is to hit the gym or run after work. like Jenny said - a slow run is still a run (and that cute little saying about how you're still lapping everyone on the couch) :) Hang in there!

Sorry you are feeling this way right now. I had a few bouts with that recently, and the thing that worked for me was to totally change up what I was doing and how I was doing it -- gave me a different outlook.
