This run seemed to last for-ev-er! Otherwise, I was happy with it. I wanted to take it real easy today so I took a 1 minute walk break every 10 minutes. Even with the breaks I was holding a 10:30 pace. I must have been delirious in the last mile because I ran it at 8:58. I guess I just wanted the run to come to an end quicker. Post run, I stretched and took a nice long soak in an ice bath. That's it for the week,work tomorrow and skiing this weekend.

Did you drowned yourself on the icy bath? hehe You know, you just gave me an idea of doing long runs with walk breaks once my foot can't handle too many miles on the road running non-stop. 18mi is a long run and it sure last for-ev-errrrrrrr!!!! You did great anyway, Eric. :o)

Cynara, walk breaks are very helpful. I actually ran my fastest marathon using them.

I know exactly how you feel. I've had a lot of those runs lately. I usually run the last part faster just to get it done. :)
