Kind of a tempo run. 1/4 mile warm up, 2.5 miles @ about a 9:00 pace, 1/4 mile cool down. The rain this morning kept it short.

good 6/6: Tempo 3.1 mi 00:32 10:25 pace
Powered through this run. After a 1/2 mile warm up, I ran the next 2 at around 8:40 pace give or take, then a cool down 1/2 mile.

Ran some intervals today. 6 x 250 meters, splits were :55, :57, :57, :56, 1:01, and :59, with about 250m walk recovery. It's a start. I haven't done speed work in quite awhile.

Another hot one, had to get this one finished early to beat the midday heat.

Someone told me to focus on cadence...(left, right, left) with two steps on inhale (l, r) and three steps on exhale (l, r, l). It seems to help but a steep hill is a steep hill.

I like-hate them, I like it cause it feels more empowering but I hate it cause it hurts everywhere, calves, glutes, hammies... and it's so hard!
